| First topic message reminder :
I totally forgot about this one .__. so Melon will be our mixer. Will you need help, Melon? Well, I guess, since overall mixing (volume balancing, giving effects, and mastering) is better to be done by only a person, what we can do to help is timing and clearing the vocals (EQ).
And. I'm supposed to make something like mixing tutorial here, LOL x'D Sorry, is a bit busy ;w; But if you have a question related to mixing, I can help~

| @Crystel Lol I just do a super-low amount of noise reduction and that's good enough. With compression, I only compress small amounts that are too loud compared to everything else, and the basically the same thing with amplification. (Also lol my microphone is apparently 15 years old and came with an old computer :,D But it's pretty good ahaha..............)

| @Cryst CONDENNNSSSEEEERRR RRRR RRRR RRRR(echoes) WHY YOU ALL OWN CONDENSERS I FEEL LIKE DEAD WITH THE SINGSTAR MIC (= = who actually cares 'bout this.shotdead)
BTW why don't you try to make the BGM a little bit get EQed(<spent DAYS for this *censored*) and amplify your vocals a little bit?{BTW, not the whole track, but only the part that got a little bit drowned into the BGM} And, I'm currently moving from Audacity to AA... If I could I would help you (still sticks a little bit on Audacity)(and of course, if you actually think it's ok that I'm kind of trying to help you)[It wouldn't be very good if I'm just getting on your nerves in some way;]
@Meta NO RIGHT NO RIGHT *feels so loser like with the singstar USB mic* *can't mix anything* ORZ
Hmm...BTW that with the recording thing... which interface do you have on your computer/latop?(e.g. Linux, Win7,Windows Xp/2000, etc.etc.) There should be settings for your microphone under Recording, and mostly you can find the Recording part on that little icon of a "megaphone" where you can adjust the volume for your "speakers"(still doesn't know how these things are called though).

Hm, since your german; I've got a pretty good page for mixing [and (nearly) mastering], and the good thing is that it's in german~.(They're using Cubase (5[?]) as mixing program and they actually seem to change the programs from video to video, I guess.)[except you already found that through google] going to PM then~

| if the vocals got drown, usually I alter the db of specific frequencies in both the off vocal and vocal track, using EQ. Or in Adobe Audition, there's this mastering effect that combine all of them (EQ, reverb, voice clearing etc) and I just need to sync both of the track so when one is high in one Hz section, the other is low--so they won't clash with each other..
guhu I'm so bad in explaining ;^;
