Method of getting info

Since I haven't got responses about where we should discuss about this thing, in the end I'm putting it in the forum x'D

So.
Since YT singers are pretty much accessible, I'm thinking that we should have our standard interview form for them to fill.

This is the step we'll be doing:

1. Introduce ourselves (the wiki) and ask the singers using our official YT channel/email, whether they want to be featured into individual pages in the wiki or not
   
2. If they answer yes, ask them whether they want to be interviewed (also stating the reason why and how).
   
3. If they agree, ask them how they think the best way to communicate/do the interview.
   
4. Do the interview! (2 staffs per singer)
   
5. All interview data will be temporarily stored in a google doc.

For now, these fields are what I have in mind:

1. Real name (can opt to answer "prefer to be hidden")
   
2. Gender (can opt to answer "prefer to be hidden")
   
3. Image to be put in the wiki page + source (can choose between RL photo, drawn avatar, or both)
   
4. Stage name/YT alias/YT channel name meaning
   
5. Other unofficial name (for "aka" field)
   
6. Origin country (can opt to answer "prefer to be hidden")
   
7. Current residence (can opt to answer "prefer to be hidden")
   
8. Date of birth (include year and age) (can opt to answer "prefer to be hidden", reveal age only, or reveal date without year)
   
9. Vocaloid impersonated
   
10. The time he/she started fandubbing
    
11. Why doing fandub
    
12. Other activity(s) other than fandubbing
    
13. Favorite song (should this be Vocaloid song only?)
    
14. Favorite Vocaloid original song producer
    
15. Favorite NND singer
    
16. Favorite YT singer

My plan will be to distribute the singers to be interviewed, and then share our wiki's YT channel and email password to the listed staff.

rules~ (WIP)

- all first communication will be using our official accounts (YT channel and email), then after we get responses from the singers, we'll divide the works.
- we will be using some standardized intro paragraph and form (working on it)
- email communication is preferred.
- If they feel more comfortable in chatting (skype, msn, etc..) after you ask them using our official account, then I guess it's fine using your personal account to talk :3
- Since we're going to represent our wiki, please avoid excessive fangirl-boying/biased conversation! Stay neutral, and insert some fangirling jokes (???) once in a while x'DDD
- Be polite Just imagine we're interviewing some popular people. They have all the right to answer, and so we just have to go along with it.

You can make suggestion as to what we should ask for personal info, crystel!

And yeaah we're going to say we're from wiki blabla we're going to feature you into an individual page blabla x'DD
And when this is finalized, I'm going to divide the work (which singers to ask) to the staff :DD

Oh oh, I think we should use the Utaite Wiki YT channel to ask. That way it looks more...official, I guess? XD

Then will it be better if we get only one person managing the interview thingy?
When they reply with the answer, we can always share them in the google doc or something though.. haha

As much as I think it'll be fun to interview (and considering I'm pretty unbiased we can avoid fangirl moments lol) I'm afraid of sounding too uninterested or just suck in general lol especially if they want a voice interview so I think I'll leave it to the people that want to do it...*hides in a corner*

Remember guys DON'T MAKE OUR WIKI LOOK BAD! D:< don't fangirl too much or you might creep out the singers!

Honesty I think a "person" to "person" interview is the best (although we would have to type out everything orz) as it makes is seem more official and plus we could publish the interview as well!~ even more awesomer so people could read that as well as their info page

maybe we could have 2 interviewers at a time? that could be interesting and it would help to have someone cover for each other faults

Lol that will depend on the singer. if we're doing good job while and after we interviewed them (redistribute the info to the wiki) people will surely become interested :DD

But this is also not bad.. maybe for chatting/talking interview. If it's email/PMing, i guess a person is fine. I mean, we can discuss it here--orsomewhere--first x'D

@crystellaris married????? LOL it might not be good to ask that cause if people know whether certain singers have relationships they might harass that person

we need to ask some questions relating to the wiki as well~
Like what their birthday is
lol can't think of anymore but other questions we could ask is what influences they might have
